Builders and decorators using clear, unlabelled adhesive films to protect surfaces, floors and windows may be causing themselves more problems than they solve.
In recent years both builders and decorators have recognised the advantages – in both safety and effectiveness – of using self-adhesive plastic films instead of dust-sheets or plastic sheeting to protect working areas from dirt and damage. The material offers a leak-proof, slip-resistant skin which can be quickly removed after use, greatly reducing clean-up time.

Jason, a member of our Warehouse Team travelled to France a couple of weeks ago in a Packexe car. During his journey to Rouen, Jason looked in the rear view mirror and saw a Police car with flashing lights. Jason’s mind was going over time (am I speeding? am I on the wrong side of the road?) so he pulled over out of his way. However the Police car did not pass Jason, instead it pulled in behind him. By this point Jason is panicking (is it all the cheap fags and booze I got in the trunk!). The Policeman got out of his car approached Jason and said:
