Packexe Protection Film allows you to re-plaster walls and ceilings without first removing fitted carpets.

If fitted carpets are taken up for interior renovation or decoration, they never go back down as neatly as before.  And removal and re-laying take time and cost money.  But Packexe Carpet self-adhesive protection film (look for the red printing on the film) creates a strong, leak-proof protective layer, which prevents plaster splashes from coming into contact with householders’ treasured carpets.

It is quick and easy to lay and sticks securely to carpet edges to prevent leakage.  What is more, it provides a safe, slip-resistant surface for plasterers to work on.

Once the work is finished, leave the plaster to dry, then simply peel the film away, working from the edges towards the middle, so that the splashed plaster and any other debris are safely wrapped inside a plastic parcel, revealing a spotless carpet underneath.

The plasterer can move quickly on to his next job without unnecessary clean-up time, and the householder is impressed and pleased with the professionalism of the work.

Whilst plastering the water cannot impregnate the protection film, which protects the carpet.

A single strip of protection film can be used where a walk way is required, saves taking off work boots when walking through a clean area.

If excessive water is pooling on the protection film a quick mop may be required. Removal of the film starting from the corners prevents any loose plaster running onto the carpet.
