Rapid, effective sharps protection

 

Packexe Sharpswrap is an extra-strong self-adhesive film for rapid application to hazardous projections, points and edges in rescue situations. It is supplied in a compact roll 100mm wide and 30m long (4” x 100’) fitted to a re-usable lightweight applicator.

Kofler Fahrzeugbau, the Packexe SMASH distributor in Italy, exhibited at Civil Protect 2013 in Bolzano/Bozen from 22-24 March.  Sales Manager, Herbert Tschimben, was very encouraged by the response from rescue professionals from all over Italy at the show.

Packexe SMASH in Taiwan

Packexe SMASH has been greeted with enthusiasm by rescue services in Taiwan.  This sequence of photographs shows a training session organised by Reputation and Prosperity Co Ltd, the Packexe SMASH and Resqtec hydraulic tools distributor in Taiwan.  It is immediately apparent from the pictures that SMASH is being used in the best possible way for most effective glass management

 

Sam Kuo, General Manager of Reputation and Prosperity, said: “The SMASH is very popular with users in Taiwan. We used SMASH at extraction and heavy rescue training for our customers.”

World Rescue Challenge London ExCel Centre 2012

The annual World Rescue Challenge was held at the ExCel Centre in London from 17 to 20 October 2012, organised by the London Fire Brigade.  There was hot competition in the Extrication Challenge between teams from Australia, Austria, France, Germany, Ghana, Ireland, Luxembourg, New Zealand, Portugal, Russia, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.

The World's Longest Roof Flap

On the 17th September at Surrey FRS HQ in Reigate, the Surrey RTC Teams attempted to create a world record for the "worlds longest roof flap" by carrying out a roof flap on a stretched Hummer Limo......, using Packexe SMASH for the glass management – naturally!
