Packexe's CEO, Andrew Orchard, visited the Sundsvall Ambulance Station in Sweden to find out about their use of Packexe SMASH in ambulances for infection control. This use was developed due to the recent Ebola crisis. This video shows the benefits of using Packexe SMASH and how it can save valuable time and money in the fight against infectious diseases.

On Monday 17 June 2013 Packexe CEO, Andrew Orchard, gave a demonstration of Packexe SMASH glass management and Packexe Sharpswrap sharps protection near Postojna, Slovenia.

It was attended by Anže Fric and his sales team from rescue products distributor, Gamat, as well as senior officers from Slovenian volunteer fire brigades.

Packexe CEO, Andrew Orchard, attended the Campeonato Nacional de Salvamento e Desencarceramento in Barreiro, Portugal, from 6 to 9 June 2013. He was there with representatives of Pefipresa Lda, which distributes Packexe rescue products in Portugal.

19 teams from 17 different Portuguese fire brigades took part in the event.

As the pictures and video show, Packexe SMASH and new Packexe Sharpswrap played a significant part in the event, both in the extrication challenges themselves and in live demonstrations to participants.

 

 

Andrew said: “Many of these Portuguese firefighters were seeing Packexe SMASH and Packexe Sharpswrap for the first time, and I was impressed at how quickly they saw the benefits of them and incorporated them into their rescue procedures.”
