Rapid, effective sharps protection

Packexe Sharpswrap is an extra-strong self-adhesive film for rapid application to hazardous projections, points and edges in rescue situations. It is supplied in a compact roll 100mm wide and 30m long (4” x 100’) fitted to a re-usable lightweight applicator.

Packexe SMASH has been greeted with enthusiasm by rescue services in Taiwan.  This sequence of photographs shows a training session organised by Reputation and Prosperity Co Ltd, the Packexe SMASH and Resqtec hydraulic tools distributor in Taiwan.  It is immediately apparent from the pictures that SMASH is being used in the best possible way for most effective glass management

Sam Kuo, General Manager of Reputation and Prosperity, said: “The SMASH is very popular with users in Taiwan. We used SMASH at extraction and heavy rescue training for our customers.”

The annual World Rescue Challenge was held at the ExCel Centre in London from 17 to 20 October 2012, organised by the London Fire Brigade.  There was hot competition in the Extrication Challenge between teams from Australia, Austria, France, Germany, Ghana, Ireland, Luxembourg, New Zealand, Portugal, Russia, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.

On the 17th September at Surrey FRS HQ in Reigate, the Surrey RTC Teams attempted to create a world record for the "worlds longest roof flap" by carrying out a roof flap on a stretched Hummer Limo......, using Packexe SMASH for the glass management – naturally!

Evening News - Emergency rescue competition

Thu, Sep 13 - An international competition is taking place in Enfield, N.S. this week, with rescue specialists from across North America and Europe taking part. Brett Ruskin gets a first-hand look at what it's like to be pulled from a wrecked car.

Packexe's distributor in Italy, Kofler Fahrzeugbau, gave a live demonstration of the latest extrication techniques using Lukas hydraulic tools and Packexe SMASH glass management at their headquarters in Lana on Saturday 8 September.  The demonstration was attended by 8 fire brigades from the Bolzano area of Northern Italy.  Here are some photographs of the event.
